Movable rudder. Stand is 2 wooden disks with metal rods that attach to the keel. Gold painted eagle figurehead. This vessel was built in 1894 for Maryland's "Oyster Navy" until soild as a yacht in 1932/3. The museum has lines for the vessel, and the model appears to be built to scale from those plans.
