Sep 9, 2025 | Cinnamon Girl plank, transom, rudder post. Paint for the ducker and primer for the power skiff.

Bob did final shaping of the replacement plank for Cinnamon Girl’s transom. Next step was to prepare to scarf in a piece to re-form the upper part of the rudder post which had been removed to work the transom repair. Bob consulted with the team, and we agreed that the entire rudder post and its connection to the skeg were compromised, and the entire rudder post should be removed and replaced. Bob started work on this also.

Willem and Tom faired CG’s’ new side plank and used epoxy to repair gouges in the side near the plank at the stern of the boat.

Jim put another “final” coat of green paint on the ducker. Mike and Don sanded, masked, and applied gray primer to the coaming and rub rail of the power skiff.
